Wanda Gail Cooper Hobbs, age 66, of Cornelia, formerly of Tifton, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at her residence.
Born on February 20, 1949, in Tifton, Georgia, she was a daughter of Ethel Ruth Pritchard Alsobrook of Tifton and the late Clarence Dewey Cooper. Mrs. Hobbs was a retired nurse.
In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Cooper and a sister Kathy Cooper Dove.
In addition to her mother, survivors include husband of 49 years, Gary V. Hobbs, Sr. of Cornelia; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Von Hobbs, Jr. (Connie) of Hiawassee and Justin Matthew Hobbs, Sr. (Tara) of Buford; son and fiancée, Benjamin Grant Hobbs (Amy Davis) of Cornelia; grandchildren, John Henry, Harrison, Sara Beth, Justin, Jr., Kaylee, Kylee, Halie and Cooper Hobbs; great grandchild, Bransen; brother and sister-in-law, Randy Clarence Cooper (Carla) of Tifton; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
