Wanda Sue Cantrell Westbrooks, age 82, of Demorest, passed on away Sunday, July 17, 2022.
Born on May 29, 1940, in Demorest, she was the daughter of the late J.C. Cantrell and Georgia Lou Stephens Cantrell. Mrs. Westbrooks was a homemaker and had a passion for gardening and enjoyed painting. She loved her family and was of the Holiness faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Dillard Westbrooks.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jonny Westbrooks (Bonnie) of Alto; daughter and son-in-law, Tajuana Watts (David) of Demorest; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, Ronnie Cantrell of Alto and Randy Cantrell of Cornelia; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, July 22, 2022, in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart with Rev. Bob Petty officiating. Interment will follow in Demorest City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 9 am until service hour on Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to a charity of one’s choice.
