Wiley Edward “Ed” Garrison, age 86, of Lula, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Born on April 1, 1938, in Lula, he was a son of the late Alta and Kate Aleen Scales Garrison of Lula. Mr. Garrison was of the Christian faith. He retired from Johnson & Johnson Manufacturing Company after 47 ½ years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Williams Cable.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mazel Davis Garrison; sons and daughters-in-law: Darrell (Connie) Garrison and Dana (Lisa) Garrison; grandchildren, Anna (Reid) Parker, Amber Garrison, and Dayton Garrison; brother, Cecil (Martha) Garrison.
Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 pm on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, at Antioch Holiness Church, in Lula, with Rev. Bobby Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. John Wayne Abernathy officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, June 3, 2024, at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home.
