WILLIAM XAVIER MALEKE CARTER, age 2 of Cornelia, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia following injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Gainesville, Georgia on November 01, 2015, he was the son of Katie Haun of Baldwin, Georgia & Will Carter of Cornelia, Georgia. William was a very happy little boy who loved trucks, wrestling, food, & enjoyed everything about the movie, “Moana.” He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymond Carter.
In addition to his parents, William leaves behind to cherish his memories his brothers, Nicholas Morgan of Clarkesville, GA; Joshua Carter of Baldwin, GA; grandparents, Dione Carter of North Carolina; Christopher Lynch, Jessica Noah, both of Tennessee; Erin Thomas of Statham, GA; Ginger DeMore of Baldwin, GA; several aunts, uncles, & cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2018 from the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Feltner officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
