Winifred Wallace Swingle, age 92 of Lula, passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018.
Born in Chinchilla, Pennsylvania on May 18, 1926 to the late John and Carolyn Swartz Wallace. Mrs. Swingle was a homemaker and member of Lula United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Wingle; son, Dana Swingle; daughter, Maureen Ostrander; brother, John Wallace, Jr..
Surviving are her son, William Goodrich of Binghamton, New York; daughters, Elizabeth Gordon of Endwell, New York and Joellen Bradley Swingle of Lula, GA; son-in-law, Mike Ostrander of Clarkesville, GA; sister, Carolyn Mohanty of South Carolina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 pm, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lula United Methodist Church with Rev. Tom Fish officiating. Interment will follow in Belton Cemetery in Lula.
The family will receive friends from 1 pm until the service hour on Saturday at the church.
